Opening Your Business 101

Part One:

This comprehensive Business Startup Orientation has been designed as a starting place for anyone who is considering jumping into business for the first or seventh time. This seminar will provide you with a general overview of things to consider when starting a business. You will receive web resources including the Colorado Business Resource Book (the essential guide to starting a business).

During this workshop, you’ll learn about: Legal entities pros and cons, steps to make your business legal in the state of Colorado, business licensing requirements, business taxation responsibilities, marketing essentials steps, the business plan components, and where to obtain additional free resources and support.

Part Two:

After you’ve participated in the Part One webinar, an in-person workshop will introduce you to the steps you need to take with the City of Westminster to make you dreams a reality! Plus you’ll learn about programs the City of Westminster provides to help support businesses once you are open.
