Angela Atkinson has joined the North Metro Denver SBDC as their new Interim Director.
Angela has a background in consulting to small businesses, nonprofits, and governmental entities, and is a part-time Business Instructor at Front Range Community College.
Angela has held leadership positions with nonprofit organizations and owned a consulting business providing mentorship in marketing, research, strategic planning and leadership development in Southwest Colorado for more than 15 years.
In addition to her consulting practice, she owned her own business specializing in digital marketing, website development, and photography/videography. She is a strong believer in the power of compelling storytelling, and loves helping small businesses uncover and amplify their authentic voice through their messaging.
Angela has been an active member of local governmental boards and councils throughout her career. She holds a BA in English from Montana State University and an MBA in Nonprofit Management from the University of California Haas Graduate School of Business in Berkeley. She’s also studied abroad and volunteered with international organizations assisting refugees.
Michelle Flores is our Coordinator, and handles client intake, marketing, website design, and email marketing.
The Colorado Small Business Development Center Network (SBDC) is funded through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The SBDC Network is a partnership between the State of Colorado, Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, the Small Business Administration (SBA), Colorado’s institutions of higher education, local economic development organizations and local chambers of commerce.
