Businesses Giving Back

An SBDC scholarship of 50% of the registration fee is available to qualifying businesses to be used towards any of our North Metro programs or workshops. A core principle of the North Metro SBDC is giving back to our local communities. Now more than ever, it’s important for businesses to be socially responsible stewards of our communities and environment. We believe it’s a key component of the new paradigm of doing business. As such, we are asking our scholarship recipients to donate time and energy to a local community project or cause that is personally important to them.

There’s 2 ways to qualify for the scholarship:

Demonstrate how you have made a difference in your community in the past year in any capacity (volunteering, donating, etc.).
Or, show how your business is actively providing a good or service that helps better the community;

You must provide some proof of your efforts either with a letter, receipts, video or some other demonstration of your community service.

It’s by helping others that we help ourselves. We look forward to hearing your ideas!
