Data privacy and data collection has been updated and popularized in the last few years, legally as well as culturally. From the GDPR in Europe to California’s updated COPPA to Colorado’s own recent data privacy updates, data privacy regulation is the hot button topic. Unfortunately, for small companies, this hasn’t changed much on their regular practices. This session will identify some best practices and potential pitfalls of collecting customer data.
