Erin Royal, Owner/Founder

A Shining Example of Success

Erin Royal joined the Leading Edge for Entrepreneurs program with the North Metro SBDC with a vision and determination to build something remarkable. With more than 18 years of experience as a project manager for another construction company, Erin had the foundational knowledge and expertise to excel. However, she sought the right tools, strategies, and network to launch her own venture successfully.

Engagement and Implementation

Throughout the course, Erin was the epitome of engagement. She actively participated in every session, eagerly absorbed the material, and consistently shared valuable tips and insights with her fellow classmates. Her collaborative spirit and willingness to help others created a vibrant learning environment, benefiting everyone involved.

First Contract and Beyond

By the end of the Leading Edge program, Erin’s hard work and dedication had already begun to pay off. She secured her first contract, marking a significant milestone for her nascent company, ORBIN Contracting LLC. This achievement was not just a testament to her skills but also to the practical, actionable knowledge she gained from the program.

Poised for Tremendous Growth

ORBIN Contracting LLC, established in April 2024, is a commercial construction general contractor based in Denver, Colorado. Despite being only a few months old, Erin’s company is poised for tremendous growth. With certifications as an SBE (Small Business Enterprise), MBE (Minority Business Enterprise), and WBE (Women’s Business Enterprise), ORBIN Contracting LLC is well-positioned to secure numerous opportunities in the competitive construction industry.

The North Metro SBDC Experience

Erin’s success story highlights the profound impact of the Leading Edge for Entrepreneurs program. The course provided her with a solid foundation in business planning, marketing, operations, sales strategy, customer acquisition, and financial analysis. More importantly, it offered a supportive community of entrepreneurs and experts, fostering an environment where knowledge and experience could be shared and leveraged for mutual success.

Looking Ahead

As Erin continues to build and expand ORBIN Contracting LLC, her journey serves as an inspiration to aspiring entrepreneurs. Her story exemplifies how dedication, engagement, and the right support system can turn dreams into reality.
