Watchdog Cleaning Solutions USA

Back in 1979, The Village People recorded the song, “IN THE NAVY”, and that is where the founder and owner of Watchdog Cleaning Solutions USA, Tasia Brick, spent four years of her life on active duty. Tasia served across the globe in various ports and duty assignments. During her enlistment she was able to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies from Columbia College. Upon leaving active duty she was afforded the opportunity to transfer to the Naval Reserves in her hometown of Denver. Prior to starting Watchdog Cleaning Solutions USA, Tasia was involved in Military Honor Operations at many funerals and memorial services for fallen Veterans. Tasia’s father, Paul, was a Crew Chief on a Medivac helicopter during the Vietnam War and although he has passed on, the two of them shared a special bond and feelings towards Veterans. Tasia has carried forward this caring and desire to help Veterans in starting Watchdog Cleaning Solutions USA.

Enhancing her education, she received a Master’s Degree in Counseling and a Post Certificate in Counseling Military Families from Regis University in Denver. After meeting with an SBDC Business Consultant, Tasia opened the cleaning business in 2016, with the focus of employing Veterans and providing a unique commercial oriented cleaning service. The Mission Statement is…”As a Veteran owned and operated small business, our focus is hiring Veterans and their dependents, ensuring we provide our clients with cleaning technicians of the highest level of integrity, experience and pride in all the services we offer”. Using a partnering methodology with their clients, which involves continued communication, accountability and performance reviews, has enabled the business to grow and obtain numerous client referrals. Using before and after photos and frequent meetings with clients, enables the business to head off problems before they become a reality. Watchdog currently is contracted with one of the largest property management firms in Colorado and is working on a plan to expand and open a second office in Colorado. Tasia said that the hiring of an experienced Sales Manager in 2018, has been a very successful move as it has opened up new market opportunities for the business.

Watchdog Cleaning Solutions USA, is focused on being the premier commercial cleaning service, setting a new standard by providing impeccably cleaned properties, healthy and enjoyable work environments and a comprehensive level of customer service as well as priding themselves in their customer communication strategy and client relationships. Tasia has commented many times that her association with the SBDC and the Business Consultant she works with has provided an invaluable resource, which she plans to continue to use on a regular basis.
